Vietnam

 

The band is wearing traditional Vietnamese Ao Dai dress on the streets of Hanoi Vietnam. The Erhu is a kind of violin (fiddle) with two strings. This traditional bowed string instrument is played with a modern twist, blending in seamlessly with the everyday bustling communion of street life in Vietnam. [ More Click here ]

We came across this lovely surprise – a free Jazz concert in Yorkville Park with Liane Fainsinger, next to the “curtain of water that recalls the gentle fall of rain”. It’s a beautiful spot for people watching. On top of the rock [ representing the Canadian Rocky mountains] you can see Torontonians chilling in the background – joyful grandparents watching over a child as he’s pushing his toy car up the imaginary mountain, lovers having a picnic on top of the world, some individuals keeping up with the Jones’ with all the latest luxuries, while the several men smoke Cuban cigars with pleasure…. Stumbled upon this Torontonian angel’s voice on my walk. You can see the casual Toronto street life happening around Shawna Caspi as she performs a one-woman show at Barbara Hall Park / Toronto / Canada. [ More info here ]

I found Daniel Huezo at the corner of Yonge & Bloor, playing this haunting acoustic instrumental Spanish guitar for Torontonians coming and going at the end of the day. [ More click here ]
